LORI CHAPTER

The ARS Lori Chapter was established in the Northern San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, CA, on March 17, 2011. Arousyak Melkonian, Chairperson of the ARS of Western U.S.A., Regional Executive at the time, was the godmother to 17 new members who took their oath. Other members transferred from the ARS Anahid Chapter, to make up the new chapter.
The first chapter executives were the following:
- Maria Terterian
- Ani Bostanian
- Arsho Avakian
- Maral Khodanian
- Sossy Khachadourian
- Isgouhi Topdjian
- Anahid Azayan
The chapter has recruited more members, celebrated its first birthday with a dinner-dance, and has held several fundraisers to meet its needs, as it settles into the new Armenian Center. The chapter established a new Saturday School, which was opened on September 14, 2013.
