ՀՕՄի ԱՐԵՒՄՏԵԱՆ ՇՐՋԱՆԻ ԲԱՐԵՐԱՐՆԵՐՈՒ ՊԱՏԻ ՕՐՀՆՈՒԹԵԱՆ ԿԱՐԳ

Կիրակի, 17 Սեպտեմբեր 2023-ին Հայ Օգնութեան Միութեան Արեւմտեան Ամերիկայի Շրջանային Վարչութիւնը կազմակերպեց Նուիրատուներու և Բարերարներու Պատի Օրհնութեան ձեռնարկ: Ներկայ էին Գերշ․ Տ․ Մուշեղ Արք. Մարտիրոսեան, Հոգևոր Հայր Զարէհ Սարգիսեան, որ կը ներկայացնէր Արեւմտեան Թեմի Առաջնորդ՝ Գերշ․ Տ․ Թորգոմ Ս․ Եպս․ Տօնոյեանը, Տէր Արցախ Պատոեան, ՀՕՄի Կեդրոնական Վարչութեան Անդամ Մարալ Մաթոսեան, ՀՅԴ Կեդրոնական Կոմիտէի Ատենապետ Տարօն Տէր Խաչատուրեան, ՀՕՄի նախկին Շրջանային Վարչութեան անդամներ, մասնաճիւղերու վարչութեան ներկայացուցիչներ, ՀՕՄի բարերարներ և անոնց ընտանիքի անդամներ եւ հիւրեր։

Ոգեկոչման հանդիսաւոր եւ իւրայատուկ ձեռնարկին բացման խօսքը կատարեց ՀՕՄի Շրջանային Վարչութեան ատենապետուհի Վիքի Մարաշլեան։

Բարերարներու Պատի օրհնութեան կարգը կատարեց Գերաշնորհ Տէր Մուշեղ Արք․Մարտիրոսեան։ Օրհնութենէն եւ աղօթքէն ետք իր սրտի խօսքով հանդէս եկաւ Սրբազան Հայրը, շնորհակալութիւն յայտնեց ներկայ բարերարներուն եւ անոնց ընտանիքներուն, փոխանցեց անհատական յոյզերը, բարձր գնահատեց ՀՕՄի նուիրեալ անդամները եւ Արեւմտեան Շրջանի Շրջանային Վարչութեան այս կարեւոր ձեռնարկը կազմակերպելու համար:

Ատենապետուհի Վիքի Մարաշլեանը իր խօսքին մէջ Շրջանային Վարչութեան անունով բարի գալուստ մաղթեց հիւրերուն՝ ներկայ գտնուելու Նուիրատուներու և Բարերարներու Պատի Օրհնութեան կարգին: “Այսօր Արևմտեան Ամերիկայի Շրջանի Շրջանային Վարչութեան կամարներու մէջ այս անունները յաւերժական տառերով կը գրուին Բարերարներու Պատին՝ որպէս խոնարհում և իրենց գործի անմահացում,” ըսաւ Մարաշլեան։

Յատուկ խօսեցաւ Վերժին Քուճաքեանի մասին, որ 1993 թուականին Նեվատայի Լաս Վեկաս քաղաքին մէջ հիմնած է Շուշի Մասնաճիւղի Շաբաթօրեայ Վարժարանը, որ կը գործէ մինչեւ այսօր, ուր մեր հայ երեխաները կ’ստանան հայեցի կրթութիւն և դաստիարակութիւն՝ իրենց սրտերուն մէջ պահելով Պատմական Շուշին տեսնելու նուիրական փափագը։

Եզրափակիչ խօսքին մէջ Մարաշլեանը շնորհակալութիւն յայտնեց բոլորին, իրենց ազգային նուիրումին և անանձնական, անշահախնդիր բարեգործութեան համար, որ օրինակ կը դառնայ գաղութի մեր հայրենակիցներուն համար։

ARS-WUSA Honors Supporters through Donor Recognition Wall Tribute

Over 80 guests assembled at the Armenian Relief Society of Western USA’s Regional Headquarters on Sunday, September 17, 2023 for an intimate gathering on the occasion of the blessing of the ARS Donor Recognition Wall. The event allowed the opportunity for the ARS Regional Executive Board to extend its gratitude to donors and supporters for their generous contributions to the region throughout the past years in advancing the humanitarian programs of the organization.

With 20 new plaques added to the ARS Donor Recognition Wall, the blessing was performed by Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, accompanied by Very Rev. Fr. Zareh Sarkissian representing H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate of the Western Prelacy, and Rev. Fr. Artsakh Badoyan, Pastor of the St. Garabed Armenian Apostolic Church in Las Vegas, NV. During the ceremony, Archbishop Mardirossian reflected on the tireless work of the Armenian Relief Society and extended thoughtful prayers of support for the organization and its staunch supporters.

Attendees at the event included ARS Regional Executive Board members, ARS chapter executive representatives, former ARS Regional Executive Board members, ARS Central Executive Board Member Maral Matossian, ARF Central Committee Chairperson Daron Der Khachadourian, benefactors Alex and Arda Yemenidjian, Hagop Koujakian, Terenik Koujakian, numerous donors, as well as family members of individuals whose memorial plaques were added to the recognition wall.

Following the blessing ceremony, remarks were delivered by ARS Regional Executive Board Chairperson Vicky Marashlian. She stated, “The plaques added to the recognition wall this evening serve as a testament to the humanitarian spirit that is alive and well throughout our community to help further the noble mission of our organization, which has served its people, homeland, and communities both near and far, for 113 years.” Marashlian gave special mention to the invaluable role that the region’s supporters have in helping to further the humanitarian aims of the organization, expressing that “Your belief in our mission is part of the driving force behind our successes. And to the loved ones of those whose memories we honor today, please know that your family member’s memory stays alive in our minds and hearts, alongside yours.”

Chairperson Marashlian took the time to reflect on the memory of Verjine Koujakian, whose memorial plaque was also added to the recognition wall. As a founder of the ARS Saturday School in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1993, she held a strong vision of passing on the Armenian language, culture, heritage, and history to new generations. With a generous donation made in her memory by the ARS Las Vegas Shoushi Chapter Verjine Koujakian Saturday School, the Yemenidjian and Koujakian families, as well as Armen and Anush Yemenidjian, Marashlian asserted that Verjine Koujakian’s legacy continues to live on, especially through the one-day school which continues to thrive in the local community of Las Vegas to this day.
