AYF Juniors Gaydzag and ARS Araz Chapters Support Burbank Fire Department’s Spark of Love Toy Drive

This holiday season, the AYF Juniors Gaydzag Chapter of Burbank joined together with the ARS Burbank Araz Chapter in a meaningful act of community service by participating in the Burbank Fire Department’s Spark of Love Toy Drive. The joint visit took place on Thursday, December 18, at Burbank Fire Department Headquarters, Station 11, where members delivered donated toys in support of children and families in need.

Now in its 33rd year, the Spark of Love Toy Drive is a long-standing holiday initiative of the LA County Fire Department and part of a broader countywide effort conducted in partnership with ABC7 and local community organizations. The program collects new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment to be distributed to underserved children, helping ensure that the holiday season brings joy to families throughout the community.

The visit was coordinated with the support of Firefighter Jeremiah, who coordinated the event so the members of the AYF Juniors Gaydzag Chapter and the ARS Araz Chapter to Station 11 can deliver the toys. Youth, parents, and community members had the opportunity to meet the firefighters, deliver donated gifts, and learn more about the important role the Burbank Fire Department plays in serving the city year-round. The children especially enjoyed the firefighter stickers and the opportunity to take photos alongside the fire engines.

Both the AYF Juniors Gaydzag Chapter and the ARS Burbank Araz Chapter take pride in participating in local civic initiatives that strengthen ties with the broader Burbank community. This collaboration reflected a shared commitment to service, compassion, and active engagement within the city.

The chapters extend their sincere gratitude to the Burbank Fire Department and the firefighters of Station 11 for their hospitality and for their continued dedication to the Spark of Love Toy Drive. It was a meaningful and memorable experience for all involved and a reminder of the importance of giving back during the holiday season.
