ARS of Western USA Hosts First Event Organized By ARS Membership Recruitment Committee

On February 11, 2023, the ARS of Western USA was pleased to host its first event organized by the ARS Membership Recruitment Committee with a fantastic turnout of current and prospective members. Opening remarks were delivered by ARS Regional Executive Vice-Chairperson Zharmen Mirzakhanyan. The three speakers, Committee Chairperson Varduhi Petrosyan, Verginie Touloumian, and Angela Savoian, relayed their experiences and stories about the ARS and its role with Armenians worldwide. As a result of this event, it was heartwarming to encounter several attendees becoming inspired and applying to become members to continue the organization’s humanitarian mission well into the future. The committee is coordinating other events and looks forward to the community’s presence.
