The Talin Chapter was founded in La Crescenta, California in 1991. The chapter office and Saturday School operate from the Armenian Center located in the City of Montrose. The main function of the chapter is to operate a Saturday School for those students who do not have the chance to attend Armenian day schools. The chapter celebrates Mid-Lent and Ascension Day, as well as hold Christmas Boutiques raising funds for local and global ARS programs, including Armenia, Artsakh and Javakhk. The chapter does it part to pass on the Armenian culture by holding Armenian traditional dance classes, as well as providing volunteers for the annual Armenian Food and Cultural Festival organized by the Regional Executive.
