Let’s Talk: Advice on comping with the trauma from the devastating Fires
Organized By: ARS Western USA Regional Executive
ARS Regional Headquarters 517 W. Glenoaks Blvd., Glendale, CA, United StatesOne way to cope with trauma is to talk about it. Another is to be prepared for anything. To help those who have been impacted by the unprecedented #LAwildfires last month, the Armenian Relief Society is hosting a session with three experts in coping with trauma.
Ida Karayan is a therapist and psychologist whose mission is to help people in challenging situations think clearly and manage problems.
Ara Torosyan, whose company helps victims of fire, rain and wind problems handle their insurance claims, can talk about how people can be better prepared for natural disasters.
Arthur Javadyan, as area representative for L.A. City Council member Monica Rodriguez, will help explain what government is doing to help fire victims.
